Another year in the books. Gary and I would like to thank everybody for making this another great year and to thank everyone who contributed to the collection for us. Also thanks to Jerry Willis for doing the collection. We also would like to thank Jerry and Janel Maro, Tom and Diane Smith, Cheryl Callahan, and Rick Jacobs for helping us tear down. And big thanks to Dewey
Chapman for pitching in last night to tear down. We hope everyone has a good and safe winter. See you all next spring.

THIS is what our show is and has always been about.

Graffiti Nights started in 1982 with a few guys hanging out down by the river showing off their cars. In the early days we cruised weekly through the city and usually ended up at a pizza or ice cream place.

As the show grew, the weekly cruises stopped, but it was still about the camaraderie and love of classic cars.

Graffiti Nights was never about having the biggest show around. It wasn’t a money-making event. It was just something for “car guys” and their families to do on Thursday nights during the summer. And it has remained that way until today—44 years later.
