Attention Weirdos!
We have been getting questions about the Mini Bike Madness that will be taking place at the Dubuque County Fairgrounds on May 1 & 2. Schedule will be forthcoming. Here are some details about classes. There will be more info coming soon.
Classes for the Tuff Mudder Trail Races will be divided during the registration process.
Please be prepared by bringing the bike you intend to race with a visible racing # to registration.
We've had too many people sign up for multiple races & leave us waiting for them at the line in the past, so if you intend to race multiple classes you may need a separate bike to do so.
Classes are as follows pending changes due to race day issues:
Full Mod - 14" wheel size limit
Fat Tire - Mild build engines
Fat Tire - Stock engines
Small Tire - All engines
Ladies - All builds
Beginner - Stock/mild builds
50yr+ - All builds
>16 - All bikes
You will be required to have a signed waiver (under 18 need parent signature), paid event pass, wear helmet & boots, and have a working killswitch on your handlebars.
Reminder that mini bikes are only allowed within the fenced area during the mini bike parade on Saturday afternoon. The Dubuque County Fairgrounds is almost 100 acres. Feel free to ride responsibly, but due to past incidents, no one is allowed to ride mini bikes around show cars. This is not open for debate.
Also - after many complaints in the camping area last year - there may be a curfew imposed. Please understand the safety of everyone is top priority, and it just takes 1 person to jeopardize this part of VTF. If you see someone acting the fool - call 'em out. If that don't work - call security. Better to get rid of 1 knucklehead than never have this again. Right? Right!!?? Seeya in Dubuque May 1-2!
