Even though we won't have a light show this year, DuQuoin is still a great place to visit to see Christmas lights. Here is a map of the houses that are participating in our towns light contest. There are many other houses decorated, and don't forget about the Holiday Lights at the DuQuoin State Fair Grounds.

We can hardly believe it's almost December! We don't know about you, but this year seems to have flown by for our family! In June we welcomed Micah Eden, the sweetest baby girl ever, to our family. Between adjusting to life with a new baby and an unexpected flooding incident that's resulted in a basement remodel, we unfortunately have very limited free time and are not going to be able to put a Christmas light show on this season. We are sorry for any disappointment and are so thankful for all of your support the last several years! We are hoping to bring you something new and exciting next year but for now we wish you all a happy Thanksgiving, a very merry Christmas, and a happy new year!!

Tonight will be the final evening for the 2020 show and we hope you all have enjoyed it as much as we've enjoyed putting it on for you! We've loved reading your posts and seeing all the photos of you and your familys making memories with us and wanted say thank you for making this year's show such a success! As this year's light show comes to a close, we'd love to hear what song was your favorite this year or what feature you liked the most!

We love christmas lights (obviously), so when we found out there was another light show within driving distance, we had to check it out! If you are in the Mt. Vernon area, The Morgan's Light Show is worth the trip! We loved the super mega tree and all the fun songs they put together! Check them out if you've got a free evening!!

If you and your family are out and about enjoying christmas lights this weekend, we recommend stopping by the Carterville area. Light show newcomer, Sean Greenlee, has put together a fun show for your family to enjoy that lasts around 15 minutes. Stop by 1205 Christine Dr in Carterville anytime from 5pm - 10:45pm Fri & Sat or 5pm - 9:45pm Sun through Thurs.

Happy Friday!! Thank you to everyone who has already come by to view this year's show! You've blown us away with your enthusiasm and kind comments and posts! We are excited for weekend number two but it looks like it could be a wet one. With that in mind, please remember to follow the map provided for entering and exiting our neighborhood to help keep the flow of traffic smooth as well as to help our neighbors be able to come and go as needed.

🎄⭐🎄⭐🎄⭐🎄 IT'S SHOWTIME! 🎄⭐🎄⭐🎄⭐🎄

The Lewis Light Show is live and we are so excited for you all to see it! This years show features 4 new songs and over 16,000 pixel lights that are certain to bring a carload of fun and smiles to everyone who stops by to enjoy it. The show will begin nightly at 5:30pm and run until 9:30pm Sunday - Thursday and until 10:30pm Friday and Saturday.

🌟We love hearing how you all are making memories with us, and our neighborhood, so don't forget to "Check in" and tag us in your Facebook posts, as well as your Instagram ones, to let us know you've stopped by!

🎅💡🎅💡🎅 Route to View the Show 🎅💡🎅💡🎅

Our neighborhood is a half mile south of the Du Quoin State Fairgrounds, next to the skating rink, and across from the Backwater Pub and bowling alley. Please see the provided map below for entering (via Dodge Lane) and exiting (via Country Lane) our neighborhood. This allows the flow of traffic to move smoothly as well as provides optimal viewing of the show and allows you to enjoy all the lights our neighbors have placed on their homes. While enjoying the show, we ask that you please pull over to the side of the road, and up towards our mailbox, so that our neighbors can continue to come and go as easily as possible.
