CB Cares Pumpkinfest Saturday, October 23rd the annual tradition of Pumpkinfest will take place on the grounds of the Moravian Pottery & Tile Works$20/carload

This 25-year tradition of Pumpkinfest continues amidst the archways of the Moravian Pottery & Tile

Works in historic Doylestown. Pumpkinfest 2017 will showcase area artists who carve out enormous 100 - 300 lb pumpkin squash into glowing masterpieces which take the artists up to six hours to sculpt, carve, and bring to life.The month of October is National Substance Abuse Prevention Month and October 23rd – 31st is Red Ribbon Week for school-age children in our community. Both of these national initiatives emphasize the importance of avoiding drug and alcohol use and correlate with Pumpkinfest with good reason given the current climate of the opioid crisis strangling our county and country. Our work as an ATOD (alcohol, tobacco and other drugs) prevention organization is “carved” out for us. The current data shows that CB Cares’ commitment to provide valuable programs and ATOD (alcohol, tobacco and other drugs) prevention resources makes for a vibrant and healthier community. This year’s proceeds from Pumpkinfest will allow us to continue our work to provide our Developmental Assets-based programs for the youth, parents and educators in the community.There are several ways you can help US help ALL of US from volunteering to being an event sponsor or for as little as $25 you can support CB Cares EF.
