We don't talk about this enough as a community. This. Needs to be addressed, if we are going to grow more wealth in our households and communities.

🕰️ to the night handshakes turned into contracts and conversations turned into collaborations. 🤝✨

This was the Wealth Summit 2025 where connections happened in real time, not in a follow‑up email.

At BEW, you don’t just network. You build. You close. You grow. That’s what you can expect every time you’re in the room.

Swipe to see the energy. Then get ready for 2026.🔥

✈️ ATL… we are on the way. 🍑

The ecosystem is expanding. The energy is shifting. And we’re bringing BEW straight to the city that knows how to build.

Tag the Atlanta entrepreneurs who need to be in the room. The dreamers. The doers. The ones turning vision into legacy.

This year at BEW, we are shifting the conversation toward one word: Ownership.

Are you a speaker who can go beyond the surface-level conversations around entrepreneurship and share real experiences, real insights, and real knowledge that can help individuals, families, and business owners scale, acquire assets, negotiate deals, invest in companies, and co-create long-term wealth?

If you have a story to tell or expertise to share that can help move our community forward, we would love to hear from you.

The next era of Black entrepreneurship is not just about starting a business — it’s about ownership.

🕰️ to the day we talked philanthropy – not just writing checks, but building lasting impact. 💸🤝

Panels give us so much: real talk, hard questions, and takeaways you can actually use.

So we want to know – what panels do YOU want to see in 2026?

🔹 Funding & Investment?
🔹 Mental health for founders?
🔹 Scaling with purpose?
🔹 Policy & advocacy?
🔹 Something else? Tell us below 👇🏾

Your feedback shapes our stage. Drop your dream panel topic in the comments.

Bryon Allen is showing the power of ownership. He's a great example of "don't just participate in the system... own part of the system." This year we plan to bring activations that move beyond the idea of starting a small business or simply calling ourselves entrepreneurs. It's time to own and build wealth‼️

🗣️Spring 2026 Small Business Development University 📣

Module #1: Orientation. Step into the next level of entrepreneurship with the Houston Area Urban League’s Small Business University — a startup accelerator and business incubator designed for founders and small business owners in the pre-venture, startup, or growth phase. Our program blends group training with one-on-one business consulting to help you master the fundamentals of growth: from certification and preparing competitive bids, to unlocking loans and investment opportunities.

With direct access to sponsors, community partners, and a powerful network of over 15,000 alumni, you’ll gain more than knowledge — you’ll gain traction.

This is also your pipeline to specialized programs like the Restaurant Accelerator Program, Diageo, Intuit Ideas Program, Urban Appraiser Initiative, the Greater Houston Black Chamber, and the Greater Houston Support Stack.

And it doesn’t stop there — this cohort will also get the chance to compete for cash prizes in upcoming pitch competitions. 💰

Date: January 28, 2026

Time: 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM

Location: Virtual Meeting

Cost: The Small Business University is sponsored by community partners of the National Urban League. Your tuition is waived once you sign up to become a client of the Urban League Entrepreneurship Center.
