Congratulations to those runners who took on the wind and rain this weekend to complete the S2S Marathon.
If you were registered by April 24 and would still like to complete the run, you have until May 20 to run/walk the course from the Bentonville square to the Fayetteville square.

No one knows why, but yes, we are back for our 10th year of the Square 2 Square Unofficial Marathon of Northwest Arkansas. We really need to get a life.

Please consider signing up for Larry's Run on September 11. This is a unique Bentonville race that supports a great cause. Founder and Race Director Daniel Becker has supported S2S, and many other races, throughout the years and this is a great way to pay back his support. Thank you.

Congratulations to everyone who completed the Square 2 Square Marathon this weekend. This is not a run for the weak of heart and everyone faces their own demons somewhere in Springdale.

Overall winner again this year was Adam Fortin in 3 hours 10 minutes.
Overall female winner this year was Michelle Hood in 4 hours 14 minutes (special note - Michelle also completed the Hogeye Marathon last weekend}.

There are 2 people who year over year have given their time and talent to this event and have asked for nothing in return.

Back again in 2021 - FREE T-SHIRT - for those brave soles that make it from Bentonville to Fayetteville, running or walking. The back of the t-shirt contains the unofficial order of finish.

There is less than one-month until the 9th Annual Square 2 Square Unofficial Marathon of NWA. There is no good reason to run S2S, we do it because we can and to celebrate crazy people who run. It is free, unsupported, and usually a grueling day. We do it for pancakes and to get our name on the back of a t-shirt.

Assuming we will be able to do so safely, we are thrilled to have Daniel Becker back in 2021 as head breakfast chef!

Although there is no “official” route for the S2S Marathon, it looks like there will be a detour this year on the most popular route in Fayetteville. As always, be careful when your out there. This is just an unofficial training run and an open course.

A long talked about plan to address drainage issues in a popular trail tunnel will soon come to fruition.

The S2S team is on its yearly sabbatical. Still running, biking and swimming, just not posting.
Stay strong and push through 2020. We'll be back for a better 2021.

In the meantime, checkout the Larry's Run virtual race. It is a great race that supports a great cause.
