We welcome the weird, low-budget films that artists of all kinds create. Founded in 2017 by Alex Keown and Darcie Blake, anything is fair game with Rock Water-- action movies with Tonka trucks; horror films about what you find in your cat's litter box; documentaries about your skateboarder friends; animations of horses who emerge from boxes. hare it with us!? Here's how:
Please send your submissions to [email protected]. We encourage participants to send MP4 versions of their projects that do not exceed 1 or 2 GB in size. If you already have your video online (i.e. on YouTube or Vimeo), please send us a link to your project. Please, no hateful, discriminatory, etc. content. In your submission email, please include the following information:
1. Your name and involvement with the film
2. Year the film was completed
3. A synopsis of the film
4. The running time of the film (maximum 20 minutes)
5. Whether or not you will be able to attend the festival
Submission is open until August 1st, 2017. Event date is August 13 at Sue's Space (3 Front Street, Suite B789, Rollinsford, NH). This event is in conjunction with Wrong Brain.
