Cerberus Security and Centurion Security Announce Strategic Merger to Create One of the Region's Premier Security Organizations
MUSKEGON, Mich. — Cerberus Security and Centurion Security today announced the completion of a strategic merger, bringing together two respected security organizations with a shared commitment to professionalism, integrity, and exceptional client service.
The merger creates a stronger, more capable organization positioned to provide comprehensive security solutions throughout North America. As part of the combined company, Cerberus K9 Solutions will continue operating as the organization's specialized K9 division, expanding capabilities in explosive detection, fi***rm detection, narcotics detection, and other specialized K9 services.

The merger significantly expands the organization's operational capabilities, geographic reach, training resources, technology, and ability to support larger and more complex security contracts while maintaining the personalized service both companies have become known for.

No Changes for Employees in 2026
Company leadership emphasized that the merger will not impact employees during the 2026 operating season.
Current positions, supervisors, pay, benefits, schedules, and existing client commitments will remain unchanged while leadership teams work together to ensure a seamless integration.
As the organization grows, leadership anticipates creating additional career opportunities across operations, management, training, specialized security divisions, K9 operations, and executive leadership.
Honoring Tony Laskowicz
As part of the transition, Cerberus Security also announced that co-founder Tony Laskowicz will be pursuing the next chapter of his professional career.
Since the company's founding, Laskowicz has played a pivotal role in helping build Cerberus Security into one of the industry's most respected event and security organizations.
"We simply would not be where we are today without Tony's vision, leadership, and dedication," Parent said. "His contributions helped lay the foundation for everything Cerberus has become. While we'll certainly miss working alongside him, we fully support his decision and sincerely thank him for his friendship, leadership, and years of commitment. We wish Tony and his family nothing but continued success and happiness in whatever comes next."
Looking Ahead
The combined organization will begin integrating resources and best practices over the coming months while remaining focused on delivering exceptional service to clients and creating new opportunities for employees.
Leadership emphasized that while the organizations are coming together, one thing remains unchanged:
