Imagine if he was running retractables.

Stock retractable seat belts were never designed for hard impacts, aggressive driving, or violent rollovers like this. In situations where your body is getting thrown side to side, retractables allow way too much movement before locking up. That means your shoulders, head, and body can slam around the cab, into doors, cages, steering wheels, or even outside the seat entirely.

That’s exactly why proper harnesses matter.

Luckily, the driver walked away okay because he was strapped into our harnesses and secured the entire time. Moments like this are a reminder that safety mods aren’t for looks they’re there for the “what if.”
