A little community support can go a long way. ❤️

I recently had the opportunity to deliver shirts to Dodgeville Middle School on behalf of Su***de Prevention of Southwest Wisconsin, made possible through the funds raised during the 2026 Holes Fore a Cause fundraiser.

These shirts are more than just something to wear—they’re a simple way to keep an important conversation visible and remind students and families that support is available and that no one has to face a difficult time alone.

Thank you to Dodgeville Middle School for helping us spread that message and for being willing to be part of something that reaches beyond the walls of the school.

This is what community helping community looks like. 💙

This is what community looks like.

Holes Fore a Cause is about more than raising funds. It’s about bringing people together around a cause that affects families, schools and communities everywhere.

We’re grateful to have the opportunity to share the message of caring, connection and support with the Iowa-Grant School District. These shirts are a small reminder of a much bigger message: we need to look out for one another. Sometimes that means starting a conversation, sometimes simply letting someone know you care.

Thank you to everyone who participates, donates, shares our message or helps spread awareness. Our hope is that Holes Fore a Cause continues to grow—not only in dollars raised, but in the number of people reached, conversations started and lives touched.

Just another Day that ends in “Y” for OG Holes Fore A Cause golfer, Joey Martin…just casually showing up to Farmers Appreciation Day, handing over a check to the Dodger Food Locker like, “Oh…here’s another $4,398.” 🌽⛳️🤣😉

Meanwhile, the rest of us are still recovering from watching him golf 153 holes from sunrise to sunset..over a month ago 😮‍💨

This year’s marathon raised an incredible $4,398 for the Dodger Food Locker, bringing Joey’s six-year total to an unbelievable $22,324.
⬇️💥⬇️💥⬇️💥
that’s not even counting the year he took a break from the Food Locker to raise over $4,000 for a scholarship fund honoring some very special gentleman gone too soon.
⬆️💥⬆️💥⬆️💥

Joey doesn’t golf until he’s tired.
He golfs until someone else’s burden gets a little lighter.

Because those dollars become weekend groceries for local kids. They become peace of mind for parents. They become one less thing for a family to worry about.

It’s amazing what can happen when one guy decides 18 holes just isn’t enough.

Joey, thank you for giving your time, your energy, and probably your knees to something that matters so much.

And to everyone who donated, shared a post, cheered from the cart path, or believed in this crazy little event…

This check belongs to all of you. ❤️

Here’s to seven incredible years…and to Joey somehow convincing himself that 153 holes sounds like a good idea again next summer. 😉⛳

Normal people take Fridays off to start their weekend early…pack the fam up, let’s go to the lake…Lay around the house because work was real stressful…prepare for endless summer grad parties, fam reunions, and other celebrations…get organized for the weekend’s endless projects around the house….y’all get it, right?

Not Brian, Brian spent his trying to make sure complete strangers have access to hope.

Because of all of you, that one very long, very exhausting Friday of Golf turned into $4,063 for the Su***de Prevention Corporation of Southwest Wisconsin.

Since HFAC inception in 2020, Brian has been here for unwavering support and so much more, Three years ago, he joined the fellas and his journey started with one fundraiser.

Today, that total sits at $9,531.

That’s not just a number.

That’s crisis trainings. Survivor support groups. School outreach. Memorial events. Resources placed into the hands of families on the hardest days of their lives. It’s proof that a community can rally around people they’ll never even meet.

The golf was the excuse.

The mission has always been the point.

Brian, we’re incredibly proud of you. Thanks for sacrificing your knees, your feet, and probably a little bit of your sanity so others know they don’t have to face life’s hardest moments alone.

Here’s to another check presented…
…and to Brian conveniently forgetting how much 153 holes actually hurt before next June. ❤️🦋

Well… that’s a wrap.

The 7th Annual Holes FORE a Cause is officially in the books, and we’re still trying to figure out where the day went.

At 4:00 AM, pitch black and with neon light up golf balls in hand, four guys teed off with one goal: raise as much money as possible for charities that make a difference. Seventeen hours later, after 153 holes, countless swings, a few birdies, plenty of laughs, and more than a little exhaustion, we walked off the course overwhelmed by the support of this community.

Because of YOU:

⛳ 153 holes were played
⛳ Nearly $17,000 was raised this year
⛳ Our 7-year total now sits at nearly $104,000

The numbers are incredible, but they don’t tell the whole story.

What makes this event special isn’t the golf. It’s the people.

It’s every person who donated when money was tight. Every share, comment, text message, and word of encouragement. Every family member who puts up with our months of planning and nonstop golf talk. Every golfer, sponsor, supporter, and friend who has helped turn a crazy idea between buddies into something that has now impacted thousands of lives through local charities.

And to Dodge Point Country Club—thank you. For seven years, you’ve welcomed us, supported us, encouraged us, and allowed us to spend an entire day chasing golf balls around your beautiful course in the name of charity. Holes FORE a Cause simply wouldn’t be what it is without you.

Seven years ago, none of us could have imagined we’d still be doing this. We certainly couldn’t have imagined raising nearly $104,000.

Yet here we are.

Tired. Grateful. Humbled.

Thank you for believing in this event, in these charities, and in the idea that a community can do incredible things when it comes together.
Until next year. ❤️⛳

💥💥OG 7th Annual HOLES FORE A CAUSE golfer, Mike Perrotti’s words from
the day. $$ to date equals $3500! This past Friday, June 12th, I completed my golf marathon for Folds of Honor. From the first swing in the dark before sunrise playing with lighted golf balls for the 1st 9 holes, to the final putt at dusk, completing 153 holes in a single day is both a physical marathon and an emotional mission. The long hours—17 straight to be exact—turn the course into a place of reflection as much as competition. Every hole becomes a tribute, every step a reminder of the sacrifices made by service members who gave everything.
The challenge isn’t just about stamina. It’s about purpose. Knowing that each hole played raises money for a charity supporting the families of fallen veterans adds weight to every shot. Fatigue hits, muscles ache, and focus wavers, but the cause keeps you moving. The day becomes a living symbol of gratitude—an intentional act of pushing yourself because others no longer can.
By the end, the accomplishment isn’t the number of holes. It’s the impact: rallying support, raising funds, and reminding people that behind every fallen hero is a family that still needs strength, community, and care. Lastly, the support of the local community was tremendous. My wife riding along with other family and friends that came out to cheer us one gave us that extra push when needed. Thank you all for the support you give us players and the donations to our charities!

Brian M. Arndt’s
7th Annual HOLES FORE A CAUSE 2026 Recap

What an incredible day.

Together, we raised over $3,100 for Su***de Prevention of Southwest Wisconsin. AND COUNTING! There is still time to donate!

https://gofund.me/fa2b47259

The weather was perfect, and we kicked things off before sunrise, teeing off in the dark with light-up golf balls.

Another year of 30,000+ steps, countless miles walked, and 153 holes played.

Every year, I find myself focused on the challenge ahead. How am I going to make it through the day? How many golf balls am I going to lose to the rough or the water? Will my body once again allow me to swing a club from sunrise to sunset?

This year felt different.

I made a point to step back and reflect on what this event has become and the impact it has had. What started as a simple idea has grown into a tradition that I genuinely look forward to each year. Thanks to the incredible support of our community, Holes Fore a Cause has now helped raise more than $100,000 right here in Southwest Wisconsin.

That number is remarkable, but it's the people behind it that leave me in awe.

Support comes in so many forms—donations, social media shares, words of encouragement, conversations at work, discussions around the dinner table, and people showing up in person to cheer us on. The support this community continues to show is truly immeasurable.

I also couldn't do this without my family.

My wife works tirelessly behind the scenes, planning, baking, organizing, and running from place to place to make sure everything comes together. Her support means more than I can put into words.

This year, my daughter Raina stepped into a new role as one of my blockers without a second thought. Watching her jump in and help throughout the day made me incredibly proud.

I also want to give a special thank you to Jennifer Schroeder, our social media queen.

Jen is the driving force behind our message being seen and heard. She's creating the posts, coordinating and conducting interviews, sharing our story, and making sure Holes Fore a Cause reaches people throughout our community and beyond. Her passion, creativity, and dedication help amplify our mission in ways that simply wouldn't be possible otherwise.

Thank you, Jen. I cannot fully express how grateful I am for everything you do. Your support, commitment, and countless hours behind the scenes have become an essential part of Holes Fore a Cause's success.

My hope is that Holes Fore a Cause continues to be more than just a day of golf. I hope it remains a day dedicated to helping others, a day that brings people together, and a reminder that there is still so much good in the world. There is hope in every day, and there is incredible power in a community that cares.

As for me, the body held up. A sore arm and hip were a small price to pay, and I was once again amazed that after putting myself through a full day of golf, I came away with little more than a few aches and a lot of gratitude.

Thank you to everyone who donated, shared, volunteered, cheered, and supported Holes Fore a Cause 2026. We couldn't do it without you.

🫵🏻🫵🏻🫵🏻🫵🏻🫵🏻HFAC 7th Annual HOLES FORE A CAUSE recap from OG GOlf Stud Joey Martin🙌🙌🙌

“The day after the event, I can honestly say this was the least amount of soreness I’ve felt in seven years of doing Holes Fore a Cause. I’m definitely tired and a little stiff, but surprisingly, no real pain.

This year felt different in the best way. Starting the day with light up golf balls added a new level of excitement right from the first tee. Throughout the day, we continually reminded ourselves of the charities we were supporting and the purpose behind the event. Keeping that mission at the forefront helped us push through the long hours on the course.

The support from our friends, families, and community continues to be incredible. The texts, Snapchats, messages, and the people who come out to cheer us on throughout the day mean more than you know.

A special thank you goes out to Alex and the staff at the golf course for everything they do to support this event. Thank you to my wife, Stephanie, and our kiddos for their support and for being there throughout the day. And a huge thank you to Jenn, who once again handled all of the promotions and social media. Her efforts help make this event a success year after year.

Donations will remain open through Thursday, and I’ll post a final fundraising total after everything is collected. We’re hoping to finish somewhere close to the $4,000 mark. Fingers crossed!

Thank you to everyone who has supported Holes Fore a Cause. Your generosity continues to make a difference in the lives of others.”
