UPDATE - UNFORTUNATE NEWS

I (Co-Owner) have suffered a significant shoulder and upper arm injury that requires a long recovery period. This certainly wasn't on the bingo card for 2026, but it is going to have a negative impact on the racetrack across all forms of racing this year.

Our season will be postponed until August of 2026. Once we have a better idea of that timeline, we'll schedule some money races, practice nights, etc.

This is a temporary setback, but we'll get there. for now, please continue to support local RC racing.

WHY BEAR CREEK & WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT:

1. Racing knowledge and the flexibility to learn. We purchased the facility in 2023 and have tripled the average kart count since. Being flexible and listening to the racers while maintaining your business plan is key to success.

2. Restrooms: We have permeant newly remodeled restrooms with amenities conveniently located alongside the track.

3. Food: Our concession stand will be open for all 2026 serving local pizza (67 Pizza), popcorn, drinks, candy, hot dogs, BBQ, etc.

4. Parking: Trackside, creek side, shade tree, reserved parking, etc. we have it all. You'll be able to reserve a yearly parking spot for just $50 per year. This guarantees you the same spot for all 10 events.

5. Event Parking: Have a favorite spot, but not racing the full schedule? Event reserve parking will be available for just $5. Free parking with first come first serve will always be an option.

6. Race Procedure: At our expense, we'll be supplying practice corner workers (In safety reflective vest) to assist drivers in all events.

7. Facility Grounds: We have plenty of acreage to explore with nature walking, flowing creeks, children's bounce house and hills for bicycle riding.

8. Outside The Box Thinking: Pole awards, track records, red light green light to signal practice start/stop times, yearlong points championship (With invite to yearly banquet) and more.

9. Infrastructure: We already have the sound system, track lighting, water resources and all the track prep equipment you could imagine.

10. More News to Come: Entry fees, classes, etc. will be announced in the coming weeks. All will be in line with local industry standards including kids having no entry fee in select classes.

Hello everyone: How about we answer some questions to update everyone with what has happened.

1. Bear Creek Raceway Park is a racing facility that currently holds annual karting, lawn mower and winged kart races. The track was originally built in the early 1990’s and we purchased it in the winter of 2023.

2. We purchased the assets to Red Brush RC from Travis Holt a couple months ago with plans to build a brand new off road course inside the current 1/8 mile kart track.

3. We are working with Bryan Burnette to design and build the track layout. We’ve learned the layout is critical and are confident Bryan will design the best track for our application.

4. After speaking to a handful of RC competitors and reviewing other tracks schedules, we will be running on the 2nd Saturday of each month beginning in April through to Nov 2026. We feel this is best for all and to help incorporate our facility into the RC community without causing a disruption.

5. Opening night will be April 11, 2026 with a practice night prior to opening night TBD

6. Ryan Caudle has agreed to come onboard as our race director for 2026. Ryan brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership. We’re confident he’ll lead RC @ Bear Creek in the right direction.

7. Tomorrow we’ll explain why we are taking a different approach to track ownership and not following in to the “norm”.

Ok everyone. Some good news for the racing community. There will be a new track opening up very near Red Brush. I have made a deal with a very nice guy that has racing background and the means and willingness to host some large races on his site. I am not going to announce who or where but there will be more to be announced soon. With that being said I want to thank each of you for your support over the past 5 seasons. Thanks to all that has given me a helping hand over the years aswell. We couldn't have made the memories without you. I have been Blessed by hosting and serving you all and hope like wise. Keep-em lids up and turning laps my friends!💪

Hey everyone! This may come to you as a shock to many and some may already know. At this point I feel it's best to close down the track. Between rain outs for the year and lower entries at our events the track is costing more than its bringing in. There has been some ideas thrown out there about only doing a few larger races which is still being considered. As far as 2025 we are off the schedule. I do want to thank each of you that has supported weather its being on the track, giving a helping hand or just some great advice you are appreciated very much. I am really wanting to spend more time and home with my family as I feel now all I do is work. I really hope Red Brush was a Blessing to you just as you have been to us.
