We have been notified that scammers have spoofed our agency Facebook and Websites - We do Not solicit, sell, make, produce or otherwise request payments from you online. We do Not have accounts set up to charge your credit card. If you have a suspected charge by Lee County Council on Aging, thought you were making a donation or purchasing something from us, please contact us immediately at 815-288-9236, and ask for Susan Lawler. You will want to contact your financial institution as well as change any passwords associated to those accounts and or emails. We will also have you file a complaint with the local authorities as well as the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), which is the main agency that collects scam reports. Report the scam to the FTC online at, ReportFraud.ftc.gov, or by phone at 1-877-382-4357 (9:00 AM - 8:00 PM, ET).

"Reader's are Leaders" as quoted by Michael Reagan at this past Friday's event in the Post House Ballroom, by the Young America's Foundation. Michael Reagan spoke, providing history, stories of growing up with a famous father, and mother, opinions, advise and so much more. Michael is a long time supporter of the Young America's Foundation.
The Young America's Foundation recently purchased the Ronald Reagan boyhood home and this event brought out students and supporters from all over the United States to tour and learn, right here in Dixon, IL, about the Foundation, it's mission, Ronald Reagan, and so much more.
The Young America's Foundation has a mission, "ensuring that increasing numbers of young Americans understand and are inspired by the ideas individual freedom, a strong national defense, free enterprise, and traditional values. "
We here at the Post House Ballroom were honored they chose our venue to have this important gathering and hope to have them back again.
