Look who flew in all the way from Blacksburg and waddled his way onto the farm…none other than Virginia Tech’s own HokieBird!

We have no idea how he made it all this way safely?! Apparently, he was not aware he was migrating in the middle of spring turkey season. Even worse, he strutted his way right into a crowd of avid turkey hunters.

Poor HokieBird probably wouldn’t have stood a chance had they all have been dressed in camo.

Luckily, he was safely guarded through the night. He even became the guest of honor, and appears to have gotten everyone waddling, strutting, and ruffling their feathers on the dance floor.

At the end of the night, we suggested HokieBird lie low, and dress in cognito as a human to make his way safely back to Blacksburg. He sure hope he makes it safely.
