We start the .marathon at Horse Prairie Camp Ground on the shores of Clark Canyon Reservoir outside Dillon, Montana.

Our starting gun is a musket and our friend Steve Moorehouse does the official start every year. He dresses in 1800’s period clothing that Lewis & Clark wore in the Corps of Discovery. This is the most significant spot on the Lewis & Clark Trail where they got the horses to cross the divide.

There a lot of history on the course. Run with us!
