And all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, especially Wendy

She brainstormed and hustled and planned and created
She filled it with love
This thing she created

As she sleeps by my side

Nothing will light up her spirit the most
As a family of friends
The she digs the most
Talking and drinking and dancing and singing

She gave us this weekend long safe place to be

I just have to say..

The generosity of the volunteers AND sponsors has blown me away. There are some truly incredible things for the silent auction.

Wendy is going 9000 miles an hour tying everything together to make this weekend a blast. All I see is a tiny, rainbow colored blur moving from room to room....:)

Gracing the stage on Sunday at 3PM! Please welcome, The Third Place, a folk duo featuring vocalists and guitarists Tesslynn Lauer and Noelle Gardner. Tess and Noelle first connected in 2020 while working together at Starbucks. Their shared passion for folk music quickly led them to embark on a musical journey. In April 2022, they launched a project titled "Flutes and Folk Music," blending traditional folk elements with an ethereal sound. They are currently working on their self-titled debut album, with a tentative release date set for winter 2024. Outside of their musical endeavors, Tess, also known as Ms. Lauer, is a K-5 music educator, while Noelle is a student at Washtenaw Community College and actively participates in union representation and bargaining at Starbucks.
