We are very excited to share that registration for our Spring Semester 2026 is now open!
Art classes for ages 7-14 inspired by Hand Christian Anderson and the Brothers Grimm-where storytelling meets art, music, architecture and design.
Students will create posters, tunnel books, small models, paper puppets, and more while exploring watercolor, pastel, mixed media and clay.

Today was our last class of the Winter Session. The kids learned how to make pipe cleaner flowers and painted them in colors of their choice.
We all had a great time together. We will definitely miss them during the break and look forward to seeing everyone in April for our Spring Semester. 😉🤸‍♀️🌷

Today in art class, the children were introduced to illuminated letters, a decorative lettering style that originated in medieval manuscripts and is known for its detailed patterns, bright colors, and imaginative designs. After learning about this historical art form, the children (age 7-9) designed their own illuminated initial letters. They creatively added shapes, floral element, and animals to personalize their letters. ✨💗

K.OSS Art Studio for Kids is excited to announce that registration is now open for our Fall Semester 2024: Saturday Art Classes for Children Age 8-13!

This fall, children will embark on an artistic journey exploring art movements such as Constructivism, Bauhaus, and De Stijl. They will delve into the art, design, typography, and architecture associated with these movements. The curriculum includes studying the works of renowned artist like Oskar Schlemmer, Kazimir Malevich, Wassily Kandinsky, Paul Klee, and Piet Mondrian.
Through hands on projects, child will create their own artworks inspired by these iconic styles and artists.

The family Scarabaeidae, as currently defined, consists of over 35,000 species of beetles worldwide; they are often called scarabs or scarab beetles. In Ancient Egypt, the dung beetle now known as Scarabaeus sacer (formerly Ateuchus sacer) was revered as sacred. Egyptian amulets representing the sacred scarab beetles were traded throughout the Mediterranean world.
