Happy birthday, Ashley!

Today we are celebrating Ashley Burton-Mims, founder of Emerald & Rose Consulting and one of the gentlest, clearest voices reminding us that wellness is not a luxury, it is a practice.

During Mental Health Awareness Month, it feels especially fitting to honor Ashley as the mental wellness guru she is becoming in real time. Her work is rooted in helping women and gender-expansive people of color thrive without sacrificing their well-being. She creates space for rest, reflection, joy, and the honest reminder that we do not have to carry everything alone.

Through Burn Bright, Not Out and her “Cut the Cape” conversations, Ashley is helping people move from urgency to intention, from over-functioning to self-honoring, from surviving the pressure to finally having language for what they need. Her message is simple, sacred, and necessary: check your capacity, make room for joy, and come back to yourself.
