We’re getting ready for this weekend’s 140th Anniversary Celebration happening this Saturday, September 5th! 🍎🎉

We’ll be open our normal hours from 8 AM–5 PM, with the celebration happening from 12–3 PM.

Bring the whole family and join us for:

🍎 Live music by Dex Joseph
🍎 Face painting
🍎 Chilled hard cider
🍎 Doughnut ice cream sundaes

The Michigan Shakespeare Festival is holding auditions for the
2026-27 High School Touring Company:
the MiSFITs

September 11, 4 PM - 10 PM
& September 12, 10 AM - 3 PM
Old Main, 4841 Cass Avenue, Detroit

Actors will be hired to rehearse and perform Macbeth and Romeo & Juliet in rep for high schools in Michigan, northern Ohio, and northern Indiana.

Casting:
10 actors, multiple covers
non-union
MSF practices inclusive casting

Prepare:
2 contrasting monologues totaling no more than 3 minutes.
1 must be Shakespeare - show off the verse - the other can be something else that shows off your range - we recommend showing off your humor.

Pay:
Actors will receive $80/performance
