To all of our Motor City Fly Fest Supporters,
After a lot of careful consideration, we have made the decision to cancel MCFF for 2020. It pains us deeply to make this call, but we think it is in the best interest of our community, at large, to wait until next year to resume our festival. We understand that this decision may be disappointing to some of you, but we feel that it is our responsibility to keep our community safe. We would love to continue this conversation with you, if you’d like. We welcome all conversations and feedback.
With that being said, all those that purchased tickets from this years ticket sales will be refunded. Those of you that purchased SUPER EARLY BIRD tickets, last year, please message us if you would like to hold onto your SUPER DUPER DISCOUNTED ticket for 2021, allocate that money for future events that we wish to add by the end of this year or receive a refund.
If you are receiving your refund and are able to pass that money forward there are many great organizations in need of donations relating to the Black Lives Matter movement. If you would like to have a conversation about what non-profit might be a good fit, please contact us.
We hope you understand this that was a difficult decision for us to make but we hope you know that it comes from a place of love and protectiveness. Please let us know it you have any questions and please let us know how, in any way, we can continue to support this community more.
