Velda Kelly and Juan Riveros rehearsed Rossini today, preparing for the upcoming concert at the Scarab Club! I had a video of our rehearsal but the file is too small to post here. Who knew? Here's a photo.

I'm happy to announce that clarinetist Triniti Rives will join the woodwinds for the 'Winds' part of this program! Triniti joined the DSO in 2025 as an African American Orchestra Fellow and can be heard performing in their clarinet section. The quintet's selections for this concert include an arrangement of Verdi's La Forza del Destino Overture and Milhaud's La Cheminée du Roi René.
