As the curtains close on another amazing year, we want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who made the 11th Freep Film Festival, a celebration of documentary cinema, possible.

To our talented filmmakers, passionate patrons, dedicated volunteers, supportive venue partners, and generous sponsors, MSU Federal Credit Union and Oakland University, your contributions have made this festival truly special.

Some of the festivals free programming kicked off today with a panel on collaborative filmmaking led by , and our works in progress program with filmmakers (Armor) and (Introducing Marcus Belgrave). Join us tomorrow at noon at Ghost Light in Hamtramck for another amazing program spotlighting MENASA filmmakers moderated by local filmmaker . The program is free, and there will be light refreshments provided.
