Running Fit- Red Carpet Run 3.1 miles of rockin' music, freebies, and the magic of Hollywood! The press has already been alerted! Who? A dress up party run for you! Yikes! What? When? Where?

Run with paparazzi, rockers, pop stars and divas! Just nonsense, fun, running, and glamour. (Yes, it's hard to keep that purse strap on or your tie straight while running, but really, who cares?! A chance to wear that dress you stood up in....or the one that brings shock and awe! Guys get out the tux & tie or be totally bad and paint it all on! An Evening of loud music, glamour, good looks and the

star treatment. Start strutting your stuff on the red carpet from 6PM until we say GO at 7pm! The camera bulbs will go crazy! A good day to stop watching stars on TV to become a star yourself! The Red Carpet rolls out at the glitzy, Flynn Pavillion at Belle Isle. Flat fast and fun, a total of 3.1 miles of rockin' music, freebies, and the magic of Hollywood! Packet Pickup
5K - Packet pickup will be race day at 4pm.

Dearest, most glamorous Red Carpet Runners, thank you for joining us in your fitness finest on Saturday night at Belle Isle Casino. Congratulations to everyone who finished the race... and extra enthusiastic cheers for those of you who did so in dresses, tuxedo wear, body paint and other festive attire! Thank you all for sticking it out in the downpours to be rewarded with a few rainbows!

A reminder that we will have packet pickup for the 2017 Red Carpet Run 5k at Running Fit's Northville store on Friday, August 11 from 4-7 p.m. Stop by and grab your bib and shirt, then be ready to strut your stuff right when the fun begins at 5 p.m. on Saturday night at Belle Isle Casino. Don't forget, you can glam up your gear like these fabulous folks!
