Rockin on the Riverfront Concert Series

The Chevrolet Rockin’ on the Riverfront summer concert series is ready to rock the D. Are you ready? Outside food, beverages or coolers will not be permitted.

River are invited to anchor near the riverfront and enjoy the view of the stage from the water. Convenient parking is available for $10 per vehicle at the GM surface lot at the intersection of St. Antoine and Atwater, adjacent to the GMRENCEN, only credit cards are accepted. Andiamo Detroit Riverfront will provide refreshment and food concessions at several locations across the plaza. The Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center is the official hotel of Rockin’ on the Riverfront.

For the last 15 years, Chevrolet has looked forward to bringing friends, families and fellow Michiganders together for six Fridays throughout the summer for our annual Chevrolet Rockin’ on the Riverfront concert series. To protect the health and well-being of our community, we have decided to cancel our annual concert series this summer. Although disappointing, it is our responsibility to do our part to help stop the spread of COVID-19. We do not plan to reschedule the concert series for later this year.

We’d like to thank our incredible sponsors, Andiamo, Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center and WCSX, for helping us create such an awesome concert series for more than a decade. We’d also like to thank you, our fans, for your support throughout the years.

Our Story

The Chevrolet Rockin' on the Riverfront concert series will make the spectacular GM Riverfront Plaza THE Friday night destination for food, fun, and FREE concerts. Admission to the concerts is free and no advance tickets are necessary. Viewing space will be on a first-come, first-served basis and people are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets. In addition, boaters on the Detroit River are invited to anchor near the riverfront and enjoy the view of the stage from the water. Convenient parking is available for $5 per vehicle at the GM surface lot at the intersection of St. Antoine and Atwater, adjacent to the GMRENCEN, only credit cards are accepted.
