September at Terri’s is all about gathering, working, celebrating and making room for something new.

This month, we’re excited to introduce a new weekly pop-up series during our Co-Work at Terri’s days. Come work from Terri’s, grab coffee and beverages from Comsa Coffee, and stay awhile. We’re also hoping to bring in breakfast and lunch offerings on select days, so keep an eye on our page as we announce what’s popping up each week.

September is especially meaningful around here because September 21st is Terri’s birthday. There’s no better month to continue building on the kind of space she imagined: one where people can gather, create, celebrate and feel at home.

While our calendar is growing, Terri’s is still available for private bookings, birthday parties, meetings, classes, workshops, dinners, pop-ups and more can all happen here.

Terri’s Detroit is also still home to Terri’s Cakes. Pre-ordered cakes, cupcakes and other sweets can be scheduled for pickup or delivery.

We hope to see you at Terri’s this September. Come co-work. Come celebrate. Come host something of your own.

We heard you! This month, we’re opening our doors to the community for Coworking Days at Terri’s Detroit.

Bring your laptop, your work, your ideas, or simply the thing you’ve been trying to get done at home and come share space with us.

COMSA will be popping up with Honduran coffee, and Terri’s Cakes might even make an appearance with those infamous biscuit sandwiches.

Join us September 9, 14, 21 & 28 from 8:30 AM–1:30 PM. Coffee service begins at 9 AM, with small bites available for purchase.

This month is our test run, so your feedback matters. If you enjoy the concept and want Coworking Days to continue, let us know. We’ll use your response to decide whether we bring it back in October.

No office. No working from the couch. Just a change of scenery, good coffee and space to get some work done.

IT’S (ALMOST) FALL, Y’ALL!

You’re already making plans for the apple orchard… but we have one question:

What are you going to do with all of those apples?!

Bring them to the kitchen! Well, we won’t need yours but we will teach you how to use them! This fall, Terri’s Cakes Detroit is hosting three hands-on baking classes at Terri’s Detroit, and you can join us for one — or make a season of it and come to all three.

Apple Pie Class
October 3 | 10 AM–12 PM

Apple Cinnamon Cupcakes Class
October 18 | 12–2 PM

Apple Pound Cake Class
October 24 | 2–4 PM

$65 per class | Ages 4+

Whether you’re bringing the kids, making it a family day, or just want to add a few new fall favorites to your recipe box, come bake with us.

Every class includes all supplies and ingredients, plus a recipe card to take home so you can make it again and again.

As we continue to reimagine what Terri’s can be, we’re thinking about opening our doors for COWORKING DAYS — and before we do, we want to hear from you.

If you work from home, run your own business, freelance, create, study, or simply need to get out of the house sometimes… would you work from Terri’s?

Imagine coming in, grabbing a table, connecting to the Wi-Fi and getting some work done — without having to go into the office.

But … we want it to be more than just a table and Wi-Fi.

A local coffee brand might be pouring coffee and tea in the morning. A chef might pop up for breakfast or lunch — testing a new menu, selling plates or passing around samples. Some days there might be a DJ. Other times, completely silent focus blocks. Maybe we listen to a podcast together. Maybe everyone puts their headphones on and gets into their own world. You could work. Meet someone new. Have lunch. Take a call. Stay for an hour or make a day of it.

We’re considering Mondays + Wednesdays | 8AM–4PM at Terri’s Detroit.

Now we need to know:

Would you actually come?
