Bookie's CLUB 870

Bookie's CLUB 870 Live music and historical artifacts from the Detroit rock music scene.

The original Bookie's on McNichols (Six Mile) west of Woodward was Detroit's top concert club from 1978 through 1981, presenting The Police, Iggy Pop, Ultravox, The Dead Boys, The Damned, The Cramps, The Romantics, The Sillies, The MC-5, and many other greats. The "new" location on Mack at Bedford near Grosse Pointe Park promises to continue the tradition.
