HarmReduction/OverDose: Racing to end the stigma It empowers individuals through education, prevention, treatment, and recovery services. An Iowa Chapter is in the process of being created.

HR/OD: Harm Reduction over Overdose
Mission: to foster collaboration among non-profits focused on community health, with a commitment to addressing substance use. The American Association for the Treatment of Opioid Dependence (AATOD) is a national nonprofit organization aimed at opioid use disorders. All funds collected from these events will go directly to the Iowa AATOD chapter to help combat opioid dependence in any way we can.

Sorry for the delay. Due to scheduling conflicts, packet pickup will be race morning at water works park. Race starts roughly at 10a. Also we have partnered with a company for next year that will allow us to hopefully become better and bigger by next September.

Here is a little on where some of the money we raise will go to. We support those in recovery and sometimes life throws curveballs (all of us at times swing and miss) and we run out of places to go and people we can turn to. A huge part of recovery is having a place to go once treatment is completed. A hefty portion of the money will raise will go towards paying deposits at sober living homes for those that cannot afford to do so. They have worked hard to get to where they are, so this will be our helping hand. Together we can save lives. Please register before it is too late.
