The Avenues of Ingersoll & Grand is a nonprofit that provides economic development, marketing & promotion, enhanced maintenance and beautification of this commercial, cultural and residential district located in the historical heart of Des Moines, Iowa. The Avenues are important corridors within our city connecting downtown to the west side from Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway to 42nd Street along

Ingersoll and Grand Avenues. The Avenues is rich with character, small shops, public art and a vibrant dining scene. A signature event of The Avenues is "Ingersoll LIVE," an annual street festival meant to bring together all that is wonderful about this district.
