Last Sunday was a day to remember! We had 9 different groups representing 9 different genres perform throughout the day. The Pied Piper Studios Kids Zone was a hit, and they brought their friends from the Heartland Youth Choir and the Des Moines Symphony Academy to help with the fun and FREE activities for kids of all ages. Also, Des Moines Water Works will be providing a water station, so bring your refillable water bottles!

16 year old Adalyn Sidon is a local high school student, musician, and composer. Her piece, "Overture of the Maygreen Sprite," for full orchestra, will be premiered by the Together Through Sound Festival Orchestra.

Come support Adalyn and hear the concert at 7 pm on September 8th at Riverview Park. The concert is FREE - all you need to do is bring a chair!

Meet a few members of the 2024 Together Through Sound Festival Orchestra! The orchestra is filled with professional musicians from our community, as well as a few select high school students who have been recommended by their teachers.
The rest of the year, you'll find these musicians playing in the Des Moines Symphony, gigging at venues like Noce and Chuck's Restaurant, teaching at the Des Moines Symphony Academy and in school districts across the metro, such as Des Moines Public Schools and West Des Moines Community Schools, teaching or studying at Drake University Music Department, and many more places around town!
We are so excited to bring you this totally FREE performance at 7 pm on September 8th, at Riverview Park. All you need to do is bring a chair!
