On behalf of the DeRuyter Volunteer Fire Department, thank you to everyone who helped make another successful Spring Truck & Tractor Pull possible!

To our sponsors, volunteers, pullers, spectators, and community supporters—thank you for your time, dedication, and continued support. Events like this would not be possible without the many individuals and businesses who work behind the scenes and show up year after year.

We are grateful for the incredible turnout and the opportunity to bring our community together for a great evening. Your support helps us continue serving the DeRuyter community and maintaining the equipment, training, and resources needed to answer the call when our neighbors need us most.

Thank you for being part of another successful year. We look forward to seeing you again next time!

Local favorite Lee Bement will be bringing the turbine-powered “New Yorker” Modified Pulling Tractor for a special demo at the May 29 Truck & Tractor Pull! 🚜💨

You won’t want to miss the sound, power, and excitement this machine brings under the lights. Grab your friends and come out for a great night of pulling action!

Year two and our amazing community is back at it again! Bringing traditions back to life and including the newest generation is the most rewarding part! Dress warm, we will see you there ❄️❄️❄️

Presented by local DeRuyter organizations and proudly sponsored by area businesses and community partners.

Join us for an evening of holiday cheer with hot cocoa, sweet treats, a community tree lighting, and a special visit from Santa.

📍 Location: 735 Utica St., DeRuyter, NY 13052

⏰ Time: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM

We will also be collecting donations of laundry soap for the local food pantry—your contribution helps support families in our community.

On behalf of the DeRuyter Firemen and Women’s Auxiliary, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make this year’s Firemen’s Field Days such a success.

To our incredible community members—your support, whether through attending events, volunteering your time, donating goods, or simply cheering us on—means the world to us. It’s because of your generosity and spirit that we’re able to carry on this cherished tradition year after year. This year was year 79!

A special thank you goes out to the many local businesses, organizations, and individuals who sponsored events, donated time or materials, provided equipment, and helped us keep the fairgrounds running smoothly. Your partnership keeps this event alive and thriving.

We’re also deeply grateful to every individual who helps make these pieces come together…whether you flipped burgers, sold tickets, ran a booth, parked cars, cleaned up after the crowds, or worked behind the scenes….The hours you put in are what make the magic happen, and we could never do it without you.

Lastly, to the members of the DeRuyter Fire Department, Auxiliary and surrounding departments that came to help out—thank you for your service not just during Field Days, but year-round. Your dedication to protecting our community is the reason we all come together to celebrate and raise funds in the first place.

The Field Days are more than just a weekend of fun—they’re a reminder of what makes our small town so special: neighbors coming together to support one another. We are proud and grateful to be part of this community.
