Derby Line Community Day The Derby Line Community Day is hosted every year in August in Baxter Park. Please contact the town office for more information!

People of all ages can enjoy free music, free activities, free admission, free parking, and fireworks at dusk! In 2001, Community National Bank celebrated their 160th anniversary by hosting a community day in the town where they opened their first branch - Derby Line, VT. The village thought the first community day was quite a success and every year since then, they have hosted the Derby Line Comm

unity Day in Baxter Park on the 2nd Saturday of August. The Derby Line Community Day is an old fashioned community day where families can spend the day out without having to spend a fortune. Families can enjoy music, entertainment, demonstrations, and activities all for FREE! In addition, there is free admission and free parking. The community day always ends with a fabulous fireworks display, courtesy of Community National Bank. The community day is organized by volunteers and is funded by generous donations from the Village of Derby Line, Town of Derby and via numerous donations from local businesses. The village is always looking for volunteers to help organize the community day and for volunteers to help during the community day. If you'd like to volunteer to help in any way or wish to donate to the community day, please be sure to contact the village by calling 802-873-3420 or emailing [email protected].

We love hosting this event and offering so much free fun for our area. So so so many of our area businesses pitch into support rhe day. Please come enjoy the and say hello.

If you see the value and are able, as well as, desire to support, grab some raffle tickets at the information booth BUT whatever you do come out to Derby Line today!!

Food and vendor booths have a charge but all the rest is FREE entertainment for our community.

Come for the ETWA Pro Wrestling (4:30-6:30), for the Real McCoy Show (12:00), NEK Cheerleaders (11:45), the Vermont Institute of Natural Science (VINS) (1PM & 2:30PM), the All Day live music (Michael Hahn Band, Kyle Chadburn & the Earthbound Spirits Mark Shelton (1:00), Christin Sykes, and Jim Campbell),the BINGO (1:00), the Fireworks at dusk, or any of the free live entertainment and food court offerings - you will be glad you came.
