Denver Summer Cranksgiving

Denver Summer Cranksgiving First of its kind in Denver on July 20, 2013. An alleycat bike race to raise food donations for the CU Denver Food Pantry. Date: July 20, 2013. Helmets required.

Online Registration @ https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1PnlVBVodeFX6_CorKQnMrcNYgtA6IMOdounVjqGU9ZQ/viewform Participants will be required to bring a bike, a bag, a lock, and about $15-$20 to buy food. All of the food purchased at grocery stores by the racerAll of the food purchased at grocery stores by the racers will be donated to the CU Denver Food Pantry*. Mass start at 9:15 am, rain or shine!

Start and finish location: Tivoli Square on the Auraria Campus. Prizes: Cash and schwag! For top three in both Citizen and Pro category. No gender-specific categories. Approximate Distance: 10 miles, depending on your choice of route. Mandatory waivers to be signed by racers at check-in. Racers will receive manifest after check-in. Day of registration also available, starting at 8 am. Online highly encouraged-registration capped at 50 riders.

If anyone has any troubles finding the registration and start line on the Auraria Campus, please check the Google map link for the event here http://goo.gl/maps/eQjvs. Registration is basically outside at the southwest corner of the Tivoli (the old brewery building) on the Auraria Campus.
