Snow Goose Festival - Delta, UT Snow Goose Festival in Delta Ut The annual Snow Goose Festival is hosted by the Delta Area Chamber of Commerce. Please stay on roads and designated beach only.

Each year brings more and more geese to the Gunnison Bend Reservoir and surrounding fields. Currently, there are an estimated 20,000 - 30,000 geese that come through Millard County in the month of February. The best viewing time for the Snow Geese is the second half of February. Around10 AM every morning *weather permitting*, the geese fly onto the Reservoir. They stay until about 4;30 PM and then

all fly off together to migrate to surrounding farm fields to eat. You can try to follow them to the fields to view them there. The Snow Geese are WILD! We never know where they will be - just know where they USUALLY are in ADAQUATE weather. Good luck "goose chasing"! Share your pictures and experiences with us!
