Spring Pop Up in Delhi, March 21, from 9:00-2:00. If you would like to be a vendor please reach out to me so I can add your name to the list. It will be First Come First Serve on setting up. So if you are interested let me know. Call Dee at 318-450-0316 to reserve a spot. There is no cost to setup and you will need to provide your own tents/tables. We will be setting up (most likely) in the parking lot across from the depot just depending on the road construction.

We are excited and look forward to seeing everyone. If you are a vendor or know of someone that may want to set up for a one day event, please call Dee.

Community Supporting Community: The Richland Revitalization Board Supports Delhi Schools with Christmas Donation

The Richland Revitalization Board is proud to partner with the Merry Little Depot Street Festival Committee to bless students at Delhi Schools this holiday season. Because of ongoing construction on Depot Street in Delhi this year, the committee could not host the Merry Little Depot Street Festival, an event that normally provides support for local families in Delhi. With a community mindset, the Richland Revitalization Board used a portion of the proceeds from Market 425, held in November in Rayville, to help fill that gap and continue the tradition of giving. By joining efforts, both groups ensured that the tradition of giving and the impact on local families continued despite the disruption.
“ The Richland Revitalization Board is honored to provide a little extra cheer for students in Delhi High, Delhi Middle, and Delhi Elementary. This is what Richland Parish is all about. When one part of our parish faces a challenge, we step in and work together. We are grateful for organizations who share the same heart for our communities and who understand community service - By creating community events for our citizens and visitors. This donation will help bring holiday joy to many students and highlights the strength of community collaboration throughout Richland Parish”, Sharon Gilmore, President, Richland Revitalization Board.

Attention: After much thought and consideration as to trying to plan the annual festival and secure vendors, it is with great regret that we are going to have to cancel this the festival this year.

The construction of Depot Street is still an ongoing project along with side streets with construction also. At this point we don't know when the construction will be finished. We are very sorry to the vendors, entertainment, the and everyone involved in making it a success in the past.

We have used the money from each years booth rentals to help our local children and families during the holidays that need a little extra help. It is extremely upsetting that we won't have funds to be able to do that this year without the festival. Hopefully with all the changes going on in town, next year we can come back bigger and better.

Thanks for everyone's patience and understanding as we have had to make this difficult decision.

Please share this status for us so that we can get the word out.

Attention: Depot Street has been under construction since January and Hwy 17 has been closed since the first part of June . At this time, we do not know a date that it will be complete. We will have a decision made by August 1st, as to whether the festival will be held this year. We don't want to cancel because this is a fundraiser for people and projects in our town, but we don't want to book vendors and entertainers, spend money on advertising and signs and then the road still be incomplete and have to cancel last minute.

We appreciate everyone that has a part in this festival and we will be positing by August so you will know.

If you are in Delhi , i ask that you try to stop in and shop with the businesses along Depot Street and First Street as well as the entire town. It js a maze to get to Depot Street but it is possibe if you come in on the street beside Thomsons.
