Our 21st Annual Lilac Festival & Street Fair begins at 10am on May 9th, and the first 750 guests can receive free lilac seedlings to plant! 🪻 You will find these at the The State Bank and Trust Company's South Pavilion. They do get taken very quickly, so it's the best day to be an early bird!

There will be lilac shrubs to purchase while supplies last for $26 in front of our office at 325 Clinton Street. We just kindly ask that when you purchase your lilac shrub, you take it with you. 😊

Lilacs both look and smell amazing, so be sure to get some lilacs to plant in your own yard!

✨The meaning behind the name✨

We love lilacs and with lilacs being the city flower, we knew we wanted to incorporate them into the name of our venue. We then began researching lilacs. We found there are many different colors of lilacs and each color symbolizes something different. Lilacs mostly symbolize first love, remembrance, peace and new beginnings- all things that align with the reason behind the space. 🌸✨

💜Purple lilacs represent first love, royalty +
nobility, spirituality, and memory + remembrance.
💙Blue lilacs represent tranquility, happiness + harmony, and spiritual wisdom + intuition.
🤍White lilacs represent purity + innocence, humility, spirituality + renewal, and remembrance.
