Introducing your 2025 Deerfield Holiday Lights Contest entries! Thanks to all of our contestants this year for the beautiful displays! Check out the photos for a sneak peek, but be sure to go check them out in person as well. Note: I will be adding additional photos for some of the more expansive displays and videos to the comments for each. Sometimes the displays pop better in video.

We are up to 7️⃣ addresses registered! At this point, almost everyone will get a prize ❤️🤣 Let's make the competition a little more stiff!

The deadline to register is 12/3. I hear the weather is going to be tricky tomorrow. If that might delay your decorating plans, no sweat! 12/3 is the registration deadline but home photography doesn't start until 12/5. I will photograph all the way through 12/7 so if you need extra time to get set up, just let me know, and I'll make sure to put you later on the list.

While you're consumed with thinking about EATING turkey 🦃 next week, this turkey ⬇️ is thinking about your holiday lights display. Don't let his survival efforts be in vain! Let's make sure he has some displays to look at if he lucks out and makes it past Thanksgiving dinner table this year.

☃️ 🎄 Deerfield Holiday Lights Contest Info 🎄 ☃️

The Deerfield Holiday Lights Contest is a yearly event in Deerfield, WI. It is open to any area residents with a Deerfield mailing address. All you have to do is decorate the exterior of your home for the holidays and register your address in order to be part of the contest.

In addition to lifelong bragging rights, there are also cash prizes! Once again this year, we'll be awarding one winner each for six different categories. Check out the categories below.

All entries that give permission will be photographed and posted on the page for everyone to see. Five of the six categories will be judged by our panel of judges, but the "People's Choice" award will be chosen by online voting. More details to come!

🤑 $50 Prizes will be awarded to one winner for each of the following categories:

⚜️ Rookie of the Year (best display by someone who's never entered before)
⚜️ Griswold Award (Most/Brightest display of lights)
⚜️ Simply Christmas (Best simple and clean display)
⚜️ The Charlie Brown Christmas Tree (For a display that needs a little love)
⚜️ Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree (Best display with music/movement/etc)
⚜️ People's Choice
