June 13: Deer Park Summer Concert Series begins!
Opening Act: The Producers (5:00-5:45 pm)
Headliner: Masterclass Big Band (6:00-8:00)

We are "Theming" each concert this year, and June 13 is "Happy Birthday America"! We will be having. USA Trivia game during Intermission. The winner will get a United States Flag Set! The "T Shirt Raffle" prize is a set of 4 patriotic "Thirstystone" coasters!

Our Featured Sponsor for this concert is the City of Deer Park! They are our largest sponsor, and without their support, this concert series would not be possible!

We have 3 confirmed food trucks, the Deer Park Eagles are hosting the beer garden, and Riverside Band Boosters are hosting the Snack Shack. Cloverleaf Education Services will be organizing and hosting crafts and activities for The Littles, as well as the new Splash Pad is available!

Come on out, bring a lawn chair, and enjoy some free music and fun!!!

Last Concert tonight!

Featured Sponsor: The City of Deer Park and Mayor Tim Verzal. Mayor Tim will be addressing the community during intermission!

Our Volunteer Organization today is the Deer Park Princesses, and they will also address the community.

The Beergarden will be hosted by our very own VFW Post 3067. Support a vet: buy a beverage! At only $5.00, it's cheaper than most restaurants!!!

Our Capture The Banner Game will be held tonight. The Princesses will be handing out flyers with the pictures of all the locations where the banner has been hosted over the summer. Label the pictures and take it to the Snack Shack by 6:30 p.m. at 7:00, if you have the most locations, listen for your name to be called, and meet us at the Snack Shack! We will draw straws to break any ties!

Remember to buy a T shirt for $20, and get a raffle ticket for a $25 Visa Gift Card! You could *win* $5.00 more than the Shirt costs! Also, get Wyatt and Randy to sign the back of the shirt, so you can say, "I saw them when"!

Capture the Banner! Last week, last location. At the last concert, this Saturday August 30, during Intermission, the person who can name the most locations that the banner has been around town this summer, will win a $25 Visa Gift Card!!! If there's a tie, we will have choose straws for a tie breaker.

Also - TShirt raffle! T shirts are now only $20. And the raffle prize for this Saturday: another $25 Visa Gift Card. You could*win* more than the shirt costs! We will have the shirts available at the Snack Shack. Come on by, get a shirt, get a ticket, and good luck!

The Concert Talent is going to be awesome! Wyatt Miller opens the concert at 5:00 followed by Randy Downing! This is not a concert to miss! I recommend getting a T shirt, and having Wyatt and Randy sign the back of the shirt, so you can say, "I saw them when!". Oh and to possibly win $25!

The Beergarden will be open, selling adult beverages including wine, for only $5 each. You can't even get a glass of beer at a restaurant for that little! Our favorite food truck with hot dogs and snow cones will definitely be there, and the Snack Shack will have soda, water, meat and cheese trays, fruit trays, chips, mini muffins, nuts and other yummies. And I'm hoping we can round up more food vendors! Melissa, my Vendor Queen, has a surprise in mind to thank our vendors this season for helping us grow into an awesome summer series!

Thanks again to all our sponsors, vendors, volunteers and talent! But even more, thanks to all the loyal community that comes out every week! Without *all* if you, the Deer Park Summer Concert Series would be a short footnote and Facebook post- "Hey remember when ...?". Let's kick this last concert of the season off in STYLE, and look forward to another season next summer, with more local talent, local vendors, local charities and local FUN!
