Dear Friends, Families, and Supporters of the Winneshiek County Fair:

Plans are well under way for the construction of a new swine facility at the Winneshiek County Fairgrounds dedicated in memory of Lewis Lechtenberg. The goal for this facility is to be completed by the Winneshiek County Fair in 2026! The pledged money through the 2025 Box Social, quilt sales, and animal sale donations/4-H and FFA member pledges is just the foundation in creating momentum for the future. What does the future look like?
• Updated electrical and water, plus ceiling fans.
• Current drawings and proposals have been approved by the Fair board.
• The new facility will be able to be multipurpose for storage or rental with center clear span steel structure.
If you or a family member or business supporter would like to financially support this endeavor, please feel free to do so. Questions can be directed to Karla or Justin Lechtenberg, or any Fair Board member. If you do feel moved to donate, a tax-deductible check can be made out to W.C.A.A (Winneshiek County Ag Association) and designated to the Lewis Lechtenberg Memorial Fund.
