Had a great turnout for the Decatur Chamber of Commerce 6th Annual Dekatur Germanfest! Great weather and always amazing entertainment for the whole family by The Klaberheads. A special thanks to Oakwood Mutual Insurance Company for their generosity in sponsoring this staple city event. Also thanks to The Oasis Pub for providing the kegs of German Beer/bartending and Two Brothers' Bar and Restaurant Decatur, Indiana for the providing the food.

Dekatur Germanfest is a festival where the German culture is promoted & celebrated through food, drink, music, dance, traditional dress, and Gemütlichkeit (Togetherness & Good Cheer). We aspire to perpetuate the memory of the thousands of German immigrants that settled in northern Adams County, Indiana, who laid the foundation for the city of Decatur. Our mission is to honor their legacy in supporting the welfare of the greater Decatur community.
