Earth marathons have strange themes, with your flying pigs and your convoluted, NASA-calculated encounter projections. Our finest Martian philosophers and theologians are working tirelessly to compose our own (as you call it) "trash talk", which we will shower upon you most mercilessly once our planet's runners prove victorious in winning all the races and snagging all the prizes. the course map is now on your website. Using the MSA's (Martian Space Administration) spacial-relationship viewer, we see your course is free of dust and rock, perhaps a solid surface. It could be quite fast … interesting. Time will tell who ends up kicking whose …

The USATF certified course, is traffic free and fast. The Martian Kids' Marathon will encourage health and fitness to children. All courses are out and back, chip timed.

🛸 THANK YOU, MARTIAN RUNNERS! The 2026 Martian Invasion of Races is in the books, and what a day it was. Huge thanks to all the runners, walkers, and joggers who showed up and made this event what it is. And a special shoutout to our volunteers who kept everything running smooth from start to finish.

🛸 The Martians Crossed the Border! We made a Friday night stop in Windsor with the crew from Dub City Runners, and this one showed up strong.

About 75 runners rolled out from Walkerville Brewery for their weekly run, mixing routes, paces, and plenty of good energy. New faces, familiar ones, and a group that made it clear right away, everyone’s welcome here.

Big thanks to David St. Germain for leading the crew and for being part of so many of our races over the years. And great to see Jerry back out with the group again. That’s what this community is about.

We talked Martian, shared some miles, and now we’ve got runners making the trip over from Canada to join the invasion in Dearborn on April 11.

Different city, same energy. This is what race season is built on.

Marathon, Half Marathon, Milky Way 26K, Meteor 10K, 5K, and the Kids’ Marathon all take off in one high-energy morning. Flat, fast courses set the stage for PRs, while costumes, crowd energy, and a full-on galactic finish line celebration bring the experience.

🛸 The Martian Made a Stop in Detroit

We linked up with the crew from Black Men Run down at Eastern Market, and this one delivered.

Multiple routes, all good vibes. Some took on a 5-mile loop through the city, others hit the Dequindre Cut or kept it easy after stacking miles earlier in the day. No matter the route, the energy stayed high from start to finish. Big group, strong presence, and a community that shows up for each other every week.

We got to connect with familiar faces and meet some new ones, always a good sign when the circle keeps growing. After the run, the crew posted up at Vivio’s Food & Spirits where the tradition continues.

Appreciate the welcome, the energy, and the miles. Detroit showed up.
