Artist Biography
Native American creator and DJ Clifton Bailey, known as Little Dready Boy, is a lifelong contributor to the worlds of art, film, music, and literature. With a deep-seated passion for sound and culture, he has traveled extensively, connecting with and learning from diverse creators and communities across the country. An 18-year veteran of the industry, Little Dready Boy has persevered to build a significant presence in the underground and festival circuits, earning a reputation for his unique artistic vision and tireless dedication.
Musical Style
Little Dready Boy specializes in curating unique and dynamic sets using a Traktor setup with an array of digital controllers. Each performance is a distinct narrative of sound, woven together with original samples, step sequencers, and live improvisation. His sound is a fusion of hip-hop and electronic dance music (EDM), a genre he pioneered in southern Illinois as an underground promoter and event planner. His efforts helped establish the region's bass culture scene through events like "Guerrillas in the Midst," "The House at the End of The Road," and numerous house parties.
