What if the place you wish you weren’t in is a place where God can use you? 🙏🔥
Paul wrote Philippians while imprisoned, yet the letter is full of joy. He said that what had happened to him actually helped spread the gospel even the guards learned that he was there because of his faith in Christ! 🙌
His circumstances didn’t stop him from sharing Jesus.
📖 Philippians 1:12–14
That’s been making me think about my own mindset.
I’m currently working in a new location on Ridgewood that, honestly, isn’t ideal. But I’ve declared that this is my mission field. Right here, where I am.
I’ve been stepping outside my comfort zone, walking outside, talking to people, and asking if I can pray for them. On Monday, I got to pray with a man named Isaac, who shared that he had spent 10 years in prison.
If I’d stayed inside, I would’ve missed that opportunity. ❤️
How often are we so focused on wanting our circumstances to change that we miss the person God has put in front of us?
That’s the heart behind Hope Fest and we can carry it into our everyday lives. We don’t have to wait for the next event to share the love of Jesus! ❤️🔥
🙏 Here’s your challenge today: ask God to show you someone you can pray for. Step outside your comfort zone and ask if they’d like prayer.
Then come back and share your testimony in the comments! You don’t have to share their name or private details we’d love to hear how God used that moment. ❤️
📸 Pictured with Antonio from another opportunity to connect and pray. Grateful for the people God puts in my path! 🙏❤️
