Scopes 100 100 years ago, the little town of Dayton captured the attention of the world through a misdemeanor trial that in many ways never ended.

As we celebrate the centennial of the Scopes Trial, we invite you to join us!

We are looking forward to welcoming you to Rhea County Dancing With The Stars at the Rhea County High School Auditorium!
Event Time: 6:00–9:00 PM
Doors Open: 5:15 PM
Attire: Cocktail Attire
This will be an elegant and exciting Valentine’s evening benefiting the 12th Judicial Children's Advocacy Center. Thank you for being part of it.

✨ For All Guests
• Four incredible vendors will be set up for shopping all evening in the lobby area.
• A Photo Booth will be available throughout the event in the lobby area.
• Students & Volunteers will be assisting with seating and questions.
• The evening itinerary is below for your reference.
• A Donation Booth will be available upon entry. We invite you to prayerfully consider supporting the 12th Judicial Children's Advocacy Center and the children in our community. Thanks to your generosity, the CAC has already raised over $17,000, and every additional gift makes a meaningful difference.

🎟 Upper Level Guests
• Please check in upon arrival.
• You will see a designated line for upper-level seating.
• Upper-level entry begins at 6:20 PM.
You will not miss the show — this allows dinner guests time to begin their meal.
• Seating is first come, first served.
• Please use the top two doors only for entry and exit.
• Restrooms are located upstairs.
• Reminder: No food or drinks are permitted in the upper level.
• You will receive a flyer upon arrival explaining our Text-to-Vote opportunity during intermission.

🍽 Dinner Guests
• Please check in upon arrival.
• CAC representatives will es**rt select guests to VIP tables.
• All other dinner seating is first come, first served.
• A complimentary mocktail ticket will be at your seat — redeem anytime during the evening.
• Your event program (including the evening itinerary) will also be at your seat.
• Students will come to your table to take your dinner order. (Lasagna or Chicken Alfredo) + Salad & Garlic Bread.
• Please help yourself to beverages upon entry. (Sweet Tea, Unsweet Tea, Water, Lemonade)
• During intermission, you will have the opportunity to vote using a gold star ballot.

Tickets are now available for the Tennessee Songwriters Week qualifying round on January 31 at 7:00 PM at the Rhea County Courthouse.

Coordinated by the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development, Tennessee Songwriters Week features qualifying rounds across the state, all leading to a final performance at the legendary Bluebird Cafe in Nashville.

The January 31 Rhea County qualifier is proudly sponsored by the Rhea County Tourism Department and the Rhea Heritage Preservation Foundation. Two songwriters will be selected that evening to advance to the showcase round, with showcase winners earning the opportunity to perform at the Bluebird Cafe in March.
