As America celebrates 250 years of independence, our town is gearing up for the 3rd Annual Dayton Stars & Stripes Firework Show — a tradition built by neighbors, volunteers, and the heart of this community.

We’re making progress to making this year’s show a reality… but we’re not across the finish line yet.
To light up the sky on July 3rd, we need a final wave of support from the people who love this community most.

If you love Dayton and Yamhill County… if you love this country… if you love seeing our community shine — now’s the time to step in.
Donate, share, spread the word. Let’s show what a small town with big pride can do.

Together, we’ll light up the sky for America’s 250th.

🇺🇲Happy Independence Day! 🇺🇲

🎆We're excited to bring a great fireworks show back to Dayton for 2025. A viewing area is available on the soccer field behind the Post Office where we'll have an information table with first aid, ear plugs (while supplies last), fun for kids, water bottles, and our National Anthem sung by Maddie Hurst prior to the show.🎇
🍧Kona Ice will be set up, as well as Porta Potties and Handicap parking available.

This is an alcohol and Smoke free zone.

We'll be at Dayton Friday Nights with an information table if you have any questions or would like to sign up to join our committee and be a part of the fun for 2026. Be safe and enjoy your day! 🗽

The 2nd annual Dayton Stars and Stripes Fireworks show and Independence Day celebration is currently in the planning stages. The City of Dayton Events committee convenes monthly on the last Wednesday to plan and coordinate events, fundraising initiatives, and the many aspects required to host a successful and enjoyable community celebration. Your help in promoting this event and providing support through donations or volunteer work would be invaluable. We are excited to bring a spectacular Fireworks display back to Dayton and provide an even wider range of activities this year.

Dayton Fireworks Committee is set up here at the Palmer Creek Lodge selling Miss Hannah's Popcorn and ByPass Pizza to help raise funds for our 2025 Stars and Stripes Fireworks Show. Come down and support the Fireworks event and check out the Fall Into Christmas Holiday Faire to start checking off your Christmas list.
