Decay approaches!

The week is finally here! Here is our direct local support for this years festival:

Gromulous is a three-piece progressive sludge metal band from here in Dayton, Ohio! Gromulous isn’t your average sludge metal band, blending heft with songwriting and originality. Featuring former members of Grand Mammoth and Takacs, Gromulous deliver a sound both heavy and intelligent.

Moiscus is a Dayton/Indianapolis based Brutal Detah/Goregrind trio that forces you to handbang and also throw up. 2023’s “Idiomorphic Practices” has served the band well, offering that blends death metal and grind in a surprisingly catchy format.

Landfilth is Daytons newest offering of hardcore infused death metal. Featuring former members of Maharaja, Landfilth utilizes their sludge roots to deliver their version of death metal that both belows in weight and movement.

Formed in 2006, INTER ARMA is a Richmond, Virginia based metal band that merges doom, psychedelic sludge, grind, and black metal. Their latest release “New Heaven” marks a sharp turn for the band, showcasing some of the most extreme and angular songwriting INTER ARMA has ever laid bare. Known for their cinematic take on sludgy, extremely cavernous, and borderline psychedelic Metal, the Richmond band broadens their dynamics by seesawing between piledriving momentum and swirling oblivion.
