President Trump to Deliver Remarks in Marietta, Georgia

Wed, July 22, 2026 - 02:00 pm

Wheeler High School
375 Hold Road
Marietta, GA 30068

“I am thrilled to welcome President Donald J. Trump back to the great state of Georgia as he delivers remarks in Marietta on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Wheeler High School.

President Trump’s leadership and America First vision continue to deliver real results for hardworking Georgians and all Americans. His commitment to strong borders, economic growth, election integrity, and putting America first remains an inspiration to Republicans across our state.

This is a fantastic opportunity for patriots in Cobb County and metro Atlanta to hear directly from the President. I strongly encourage everyone who can attend to do so. Seating is first-come, first-served, and attendees will need to confirm their ticket via SMS as instructed.

Georgia Republicans stand united with President Trump. We are grateful for his continued engagement in our state and look forward to a strong showing of support.

God bless President Trump, God bless Georgia, and God bless the United States of America.” - Georgia Republican Party Josh McKoon

UPDATE: The pacemaker implant was successful. Gordon is doing well and resting now.

From Gordon Pirkle’s daughter:

As you all say your prayers please pray for my sweet daddy. He is in the hospital battling an aggressive infection (sepsis) since his kidney stone surgery. He is improving slowly and we will take these baby steps! It’s crazy how this infection is. He was at VBS at Liberty Baptist Church Friday night and in the hospital Saturday night fighting with all he has!

We will celebrate 60 years of the Pool Room and 90 years of him this year! He has lots to celebrate! Gods got this! Keep those prayers coming because we feel each one!!!

TBT: 12 years went fast.

When [Five Star NTP owner] Lowell [Starr] mentioned to me that Dawson County Parks and Rec had canceled their fireworks and he heard of this great run under the fireworks, I wanted to do my part as one of the newer residents in Dawson to keep that tradition going and make this fun idea become reality," said DDA Secretary Seanie Zappendorf.

UPDATE: Gordon is out of surgery and the doctor said that everything went well. We appreciate all the love, support and especially prayers! We love our community!

From Dawsonville Poolroom: We ask everyone to please say a prayer for Gordon Pirkle this morning.

He will be having surgery at 9:15 a.m. to remove a very large kidney stone. At nearly 90 years old, any surgery carries added concern, so we are praying for a successful procedure, wisdom for the doctors and nurses, and a quick and easy recovery.

Most of all, we are trusting in God’s protection, comfort, and healing through it all. We know the Lord’s hands are upon Gordon, and we ask for peace and strength for him and his family today.

Thank you all for your prayers.

Tonight!! Come 4:30 PM to eat dinner first.
