MAC Poker Ride

MAC Poker Ride Join us for an unforgettable ride to benefit local charities on the third Saturday of every Septembe We also offer a prize for the worst hand.

The MAC Poker Ride is a fun, non-competitive cycling event hosted by Mooresville Area Cyclists. The routes travel the scenic, rolling country roads of Iredell and Rowan counties. Participants draw cards along the way to make their best poker hand. Once all participants return, the cards are tallied up and our grand prizes are awarded to the top hands. All remaining non-winning score cards are elig

ible for one of our many, many door prizes in a random drawing. You need not be present to one of our top prizes but door prizes will be awarded to those who are present.

I would like to personally thank everyone that attended any one of, or multiple years of the MAC Poker Ride through it's five year history. Together we raised and donated over $50,000 to local charities and had some great times.

Our last event was in 2019 before the virus came along. I have decided that will be our last MAC Poker Ride.

But do not fear! I hope to bring something new and exciting to replace the event at some point.

It was a hard decision to make but given the circumstances and the current state of the world, we have decided to cancel the 2020 MAC Poker Ride. There just won't be enough time to plan for an amazing event, and we only do this ride one way... amazing!
Let's plan to get together in 2021 for another amazing ride.
