Music at St. Alban's

Music at St. Alban's Concert series at St. Alban's Episcopal Church in Davidson, NC. Our Sunday afternoon concerts, held in the warm and inviting environment of Davidson's St.

Alban's Church, provide our audience members the opportunity to enjoy a wide array of high level chamber music concerts. Our concerts feature musicians from near and far, in classical, jazz, and other genres. We invite you to help support emerging artists by arriving early to hear pre-concert performances by young, talented musicians. We also encourage you to stay after the concerts for our "meet

Continued support from donors like you makes it possible for this extraordinary musical program to offer diverse, world-class performances to our communities. We look forward to creating memorable music-filled afternoons with you and your families. See you at the concerts!

Please join Music at St. Albans on Sunday, May 17 at 3:00 pm as we close out a record-breaking season! We're delighted to welcome accomplished jazz pianist Noel Freidline and vocalist Maria Howell as they live it up with Ella Fitzgerald and some Motown greats.

Noel Freidline and Maria Howell explore and re-interpret some of the best music of the last 80 years. Approaching the music from “the left,” Noel and Maria offer listeners something they have heard, but that they have never heard before. Combine this fresh musical approach with a rapport and witty banter and you have Noel and Maria in their element.

Come early for a spotlight conversation with the artists, hosted by DavidsonLearns at 2:00 pm, and stay after for a meet-the-artists reception!

For more information, tickets, and livestreaming, please visit www.musicatstalbansdavidson.org. This event is made possible in part with funding from the ASC and support from WDAV, our media sponsor. News of Davidson is our media partner. M@SA is a 501[c]3 non-profit organization.

Everyone had a great time at yesterday's thank-you event for M@SA donors. After mingling and prosecco, attendees were charmed and entertained by Ethan Uslan playing Cole Porter songs and ragtime piano tunes. Afterwards, everyone enjoyed Mary Emerich's outstanding reception food and more socializing. We at M@SA are very grateful to our donors for helping make what we do possible!

M@SA hosted Lovell Bradford, jazz musician and educator at the Ada Jenkins LEARN Works on April 23, 2026. LEARN Works is a thriving after school academic program. Lovell was accompanied by 5 young artists who performed and demonstrated the sounds of their instruments, including the guitar, bass, sax, keyboard, drums ad cymbals, Lovell described different genres of jazz as the musicians displayed their instruments. Their jazz rendition of “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star” brought 82 elementary school students to the feet as they sang and danced. By the end of the activity, the seeds of finding joy in music were planted.
