This year at Alternating Currents, we're launching the first-ever IDEA FACTORY Pitch Off! We're looking for bold thinkers, creators, entrepreneurs and dreamers to take the stage.

You don't need a fully launched business. You don't need investors. You don't even need a pitch deck.

If you have:

✅ A side hustle concept
✅ A product invention
✅ An app idea
✅ A community project you'd love to launch..we want to hear it.

🎨 CALLING ALL MURALISTS!

The 2026 Alternating Currents Mural Fest application is LIVE and we’re looking for 4 artists or artist teams to bring bold, creative energy to 4 downtown walls in Davenport, Bettendorf, and Rock Island!

Each selected artist will receive:
💵 $5,000 stipend
🏨 Lodging provided (up to 7 days)
🖌️Material stipend provided
🧱 Wall preparation assistance provided
🍽️ Hospitality access during the festival
📍 High-visibility walls in active downtown corridors

This is your chance to be part of a multi-city celebration of music, film, comedy, and visual art and leave your mark on the creative landscape of the Quad Cities.
