Alternating Currents is seeking up to three artists to contribute original designs to our official 2026 merchandise collection.

We're looking for artwork inspired by the energy, creativity and spirit of Alternating Currents, designs people will want to wear long after festival weekend.

Selected artists will receive an honorarium, royalties on merchandise sales and the opportunity to have their work featured as part of the official festival merchandise lineup.

Independent film takes center stage at The Last Picture House during Alternating Currents, August 13–16.

This year's selected films span drama, horror, comedy, experimental and feature categories, bringing together a diverse group of filmmakers and storytellers for a weekend of screenings, conversations and creative discovery.

Additional film festival programming will be announced soon.

This year at Alternating Currents, we're launching the first-ever IDEA FACTORY Pitch Off! We're looking for bold thinkers, creators, entrepreneurs and dreamers to take the stage.

You don't need a fully launched business. You don't need investors. You don't even need a pitch deck.

If you have:
✅ A business idea
✅ A side hustle concept
✅ A product invention
✅ An app idea
✅ A community project you'd love to launch..we want to hear it.

Selected participants will pitch live for prizes, valuable feedback and the chance to turn an idea into reality.
