📢 PSA, they've been writing tickets for people driving through the closures

Reminder!
If you’re headed into the Village of Darien to visit one of our many wonderful local businesses or attending the world-famous Corn Fest this weekend, please take a moment to familiarize yourself with all of the detour routes.

After all, our officers would much rather meet and talk with you at Corn Fest than meet you in a Road Closed/Construction Zone!

Please follow the detour signs, slow down, and give yourself a little extra time to get where you’re going.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation. Have a safe and enjoyable Corn Fest weekend! 🚧🚔🌽
