10 years is a long time. Every year I wonder how we will top the last, but we somehow manage to do it. This year I wanted to do it up big for the big 10. I kept asking folks to play (some of which I’d been trying to get here for 9 years) and they all said yes!!! In ten years we’ve all built relationships, lost loved ones, brought new life into the world. Ten years feels like a crossroads. After ten years what I do know is that we have some of the kindest people in the world that come to the Fest. We’ve smashed together random folks from all over the country and world and made it some kind of family. I try to book eclectic and unique acts so people can walk away with something new! I also try to include people who I think will appreciate the community we’ve built. We’ve hosted some absolutely incredible talent over the years. Whether you had heard of them or not. You know em now!
Thank you to all the incredible musicians who played this year. It was an excellent experience. Jerron Paxton got a standing ovation, Amythyst Kiah wowed us with that incredible voice, Wayne Hancock gave us extra time swingin’. Our artist at large the incredible Eddie Barbash jumping in with everything from traditional jazz to the square dance to “pick up the pieces”! Not to mention all the incredible music and jamming that happened off stage.
Thanks Hakeem & Adrien for making everyone sound so good! Y’all make it look easy!
Thank you so much to Caitlin and Francine for coordinating volunteers! We had a wonderful team of volunteers who had us covered. Tickets, parking, gate, setup, hospitality! Everything ran pretty smooth! Thank you volunteers! Caitlin I’m so glad you could bring Chacho too.
Thank you Candace for coordinating vendors! It’s no easy task! Always so very appreciated! Also Jason for everything and the kids for taking Roux for walks and doing the raffle. Yo yo yo yooooo.
Thank you Tucker & Titus for working endlessly and believing in this thing. You guys put so much time and physical energy into the event. You read my mind and are doing things before I can ask!

Gabby and Mike! Hoss & Pit Boss. You guys rocked the kitchen hard. Busted it out! Ran it like the navy. Kept moral high in the hostility tent. Appreciate y’all so much. Let me know what you need I got you!

Gretchen. When we met were strangers. Now we’re family. We make such a good team. I appreciate you so much. You do so much. Cherry Hill is such a lovely place. We’ve come really far. We learned together, worked together! Thank you for everything. It’s an incredible partnership and friendship that I really feel lucky to have. Thanks for trusting me and hosting an amazing party!
Jeremiah you keep it tight but not too tight, thanks for being my main dude and right hand man from the start! A much needed voice of reason! Stage upgrades were tight!
Griffin you’re such a wise, gentle, kind, generous fella. Ive learned a lot from you. Thanks for listening and talking me through things. Your performances and presence is so appreciated. A huge part of the fest. The Hearts a big tent and you gotta let everybody in.
Joe ski is just incredible and prolific! A legend! So many edits, posters, cards, etc! The correspondence is crazy! Thanks for doing shirts and making cool art to make the world better and weirder.
Thank you Sarah Soko for hanging with the kids all weekend. Setting up a super cool giant tent for the young festy goers to spread out and get creative. Spinning fire. Bringing the buzzies, & Being the coolest.
